My story
Hi, my name is Stuart and I have been a resident living and working in Madrid, Spain for more than two decades.
Over the years I have spent a lot of time trying to understand Spain – the people, the politics, the regions – and here I will share with you my knowledge.
I would say I have a love-hate relationship with Spain. Some things I love, some things I hate. No country is perfect, and Spain certainly does have its shortcomings.
But the pros outweigh the cons and that’s why I am still here.
The aim of this website is to give people that are planning to move to Spain an insider’s view of the country with out the sugarcoating, which seems to be the theme of many sites on Spain.
